Ingredients:

  • Lumpia wrappers (spring roll wrappers)
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 1/2 cup chopped green beans
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Heat some oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped onion, sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add shredded cabbage, julienned carrot, chopped green beans, and chopped bell peppers (if using). Cook for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened.
  3. Stir in bean sprouts and cook for another minute.
  4. Season the vegetable mixture with soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine all the flavors. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  5. Take a lumpia wrapper and place about 2 tablespoons of the vegetable filling in the center.
